According to the report of media - service of Finance Ministry the volume of the expanses the government provided for the improvement of the Ukrainian roads in January-November 2006 is in 1.8 higher than during the same period of 2005 year. Vadim Gurjos was one of the most active initiators focused on the growing of the governmental expanses for the improvement of the road system in our country. He was intended to create all important international highways to the standards of the European level.

Current leader of “Ukravtodor” Vladimir Demishkan also reported about his intension to work on the improvement of transit highways condition improvement. For today the largest investment project ion this field are works on the highways Kiev-Odesa and Kiev-Chop.

In Gurjos opinion foreign financial institutions now take the leading positions in the participation in the investment projects of Ukraine. “Foreign investors possess much stronger financial resources, except direct economical stimuli of establishment of their capital to the program of road improvement in Ukraine, probably can wait for some other preferential structures”- he admitted.

The process of road improvement is absolutely necessary condition of the high level connection of our country with other neighbor countries. And definitely buying property in Ukraine will be much easier and more comfortable with the presence of improved international highways.
