The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has the intensions to cut the terms for the registration of construction documents from 475 days to 60 days.

"The task to have 60 days was set. This is all we can give with Ukrainian red tape," Ukrainian Vice Premier Sergiy Tihipko noted, making speech on the forum of the Strong Ukraine party in Kyiv on Tuesday.

He noted that at the moment Ukraine has the longest term for construction documents registration.

He added that the longest term in other countries is no more than 250 days, and in Georgia it was cut to about 50 days.

Tihipko emphasized that the government has formed a working group made up of the best specialists. The working group is drawing up legal documents, including ones that take into account the experience of the Baltic States.
