  
Until Czech agricultural production competes for the Western market and Ukraine increases prices for the Ukrainian property for sale, large Czech enterprises started to focus on East more and more, in particular on Ukraine. Thus, head of Czech land association Jan Veleba admitted the importance of expansion of collaboration with Ukraine in the agricultural sphere.
As “Deutsche Welle” reports cyting the head of the cooperative “Yevshovice” Bohuslav Rada, the attractiveness of Ukraine for the Czech agriculturist lies in the cheap prices. “Oil is twice cheaper and the taxes are much lower”. According to his words currently the cooperative “Yevshovice” rents 8500 ha of land and till the end of current year has the intensions to increase "its" Ukrainian lands in 1500 ha.
President of Czech agriculture association Jan Veleba mentioned in the interview for the newspaper "Hospodarske noviny", that Kyiv authorities provide a successful collaboration with Czech agriculturists. As a result the Ukrainian-Czech collaboration in the agricultural field has large perspectives. |
