Ukrainian exposition at the 49th International Paris Air Show Le-Bourget-2011, which will be held June 20-26, 2011, will represent the eight companies.
According to organizers, to participate in the saloon claimed, in particular, the company "Antonov" (Kiev), "Motor-Sich", "Ivchenko-Progress" (both Kiev), "Yuzhmash", "South" (both Dnepropetrovsk), the State Space Agency of Ukraine, the State Corporation "Vector" and the state company "Ukrspetsexport." On the stand state company "Ukrspetsexport" will be presented also the logo of state concern "Ukroboronprom."
Central project, which will represent Ukraine at Le-Bourget-2011, will become a regional passenger jet next generation AN-158.
According to the developer of the aircraft - "Antonov", An-158 will take part in a program of demonstration flights at Le-Bourget.
AN-158 is designed to carry 99 passengers at a distance of 2500-3100 km and is part of a family of regional jet airliners An-148/158/168 new generation.
According to experts, on its complex characteristics the new AN-158 is not inferior to the best Western models of this type: the aircraft is certified to the third category of ICAO (the possibility of landing in zero visibility).
The new machine has an engine D-436-148 development of "Ivchenko-Progress," produced by "Motor Sich". On behalf of the Government of Ukraine "Antonov" is currently preparing a proposal for the optional family of aircraft "Antonov" engines of western production.
AN-158 has received the certificate of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) in February. Serial production of the An-158 is set at the production plant "Antonov" today. (Kiev).
Exit the aircraft on the market, according to previously voiced data, it will serve until the end of 2011. In 2020, according to the developers planned to supply about a hundred machines.
According to Russian leasing company "Ilyushin Finance Co", a portfolio of firm orders for the AN-158 at the end of 2010 was estimated at 20 aircraft.
