
Ukrainian Airlines AeroSvit (Kyiv) from May, 22 will start offering tickets at decreased prices under its Crazy Friday programme every Friday, according to a press release of the air carrier.
The cost of a return ticket on inner routes will be 29 USD, on international short routes 100 USD, and international long routes 400 USD.
As it was reported, in March 2009 AeroSvit proclaimed the Crazy Friday programme due to which passengers can purchase tickets at decreased prices every other Friday.
Ukrainian Airlines CJSC AeroSvit was founded in 1994. According to the company, currently 64% of its shares belong to the Ukrainian hosts: the State Property Fund of Ukraine owns 22.3%, Genaviainvest Ltd 25%, UkrInfoConsult 10% and Buro Ltd. 4.7%. Some 38% of the shares belong to Gilward Investments B.V. in the Netherlands.
The company's fleet consists of 15 Boeing aircraft.
In 2008, the Ukrainian air company increased passenger transportation by 24%, to 2.51 million passengers, having performed 30 000 flights. |
