Working groups of the committee for economic reforms headed by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in the coming month will form the schedule for the introduction of a program of economic reforms, Presidential Administration First Deputy Head Iryna Akimova has said.
"The timetable clearly determines times, responsibilities and a list of processes for drafting the legislative and other acts on which the reforms are actually based," she reported to journalists in the capital.
According to her words, some of these draft laws have been already prepared and submitted to the parliament or are will be soon submitted so they can be adopted at this parliament session. Particularly, this includes draft laws on deregulation and widening of the independence of the National Bank of Ukraine.
"The timetables, on the one hand, manage the work of agencies of the executive branch for certain steps, every two weeks in 2010 and every quarter from 2010 through 2014, while another provides a powerful tools for monitoring," Akimova added.
She also noted that a cooperation council could be formed at the committee for economic reform. At present, the issue of its form and how it will be created is being discussed.
Akimova also noted that the committee for economic reforms still plans to involve foreign experts in its work. |
