Perlyna Carpat (The Pearl of the Carpathians) in Slavsko

Resort is located at the territory of village Slavsko, in the Lviv region.
Slavsko will definitely give you everything you need. This is a wonderful resort place that is located just in three hours of drive from Lviv between Striy and Uzhgorod. Slavsko is situated on the height of 750 m over the sea level – one of the best Ukrainian ski centres. There are several ski ways of international meaning in Slavske. The central ski way of the sport club “Dynamo” was used fro international contests not once. The landscape of the mountains is very variable that permits to ski not only for the professional skiers but also for the beginners. The natural location of Beskida and Gorgana slopes around Slavsko has created a unique microclimate due to which pleasant not windy weather is present in all seasons and snow is present till April.

Slavsko is the center of ski sport, tourism and rest in a picturesque meadow of rivers Opir and Slavka in the level of 501 m over the sea. This corner became a mecca of skiing in winter and the center of tourism in summer. Natural location of mountain range Beskidy and Gorgana around Slavsk has created a unique microclimate that provides peaceful weather with large quantity of snow in winter and is stably keeping till the end of April. In summer one can see wonderful landscapes with green pine trees on the slopes of the mountains.

There are several ski ways of International meaning in Slavsko. They provide one seat and 15 bugle lifts that take up during one hour more than 7000 skiers. The length of seat lift on the Trostyan Mountain is 2750 m. Bugle ski lifts that are located on this mountain have the length of 600 to 1200 m. The diversity of landscape and difficulty levels is present here.

In general the service and infrastructure of Slavsko expanded and improved a lot during last years. Living in rest complexes, sanatoriums or private sector became much more comfortable. Now all the rest complexes in Slavsko have mostly high level. They all possess deluxe rooms for your comfort.

We can also easily talk about high service level “at home”, especially in the houses on the central streets of the village. People build new outbuildings, saunas, connect gas and other amenities. The guest will be always treated with delicious traditional food. Except food and nice accommodation local people propose different kinds of entertainment as horse riding, hiking, excursions to historical places and many other things. “Perlyna Carpat” was founded in 1987 year. It is situated at the distance of 130 m from elevators with length of 600 and 1000 m. There is a Pogar Mountain in front of the windows of all the rooms in the tourist complex. Ski way length is 700m (one can ski even at night time). It contains three ski ways concerned to the amateurs and beginners. One can go down not only in day time but also at night as the ways are lighted. There are also tables and cafes on the mountain. The slopes with length of 600-1000m, width -100-150m are quite plate that helps those wishing to study skiing to get these skills without any problems. There are two Czech ski lifts of 600 and 1000m.
If you wish you can use the service of qualified instructors of ski sport.

There is also Trostian Mountain (1232 m) just in 4 km from the hotel-tourist complex. There are 7 ski lifts to the ski ways of different complication – from the beginners to masters of skiing. There are additional premises at Trostian: cafes, where you can have tasty lunch and drink tea of mountain herbs; Rescue services. Currently this is one of the most developed ski resort mountain that gives the opportunities for excellent skiing. Here one can find the best and the most interesting ski ways. You can go down to any side of the mountain – the slopes are divided into the Western, Northern, Central and Southern ones. There are ways of different levels of difficulty, including “black ways” (super difficult). There is a sport way on the central slope; that is why the access there is often restricted. Below the Western slope the “Great meadow for the beginners” is located – an ideal place for those who only start their skiing experience.

Slavskiy Pension

Vysokiy Verkh

Slavsk area possesses a prominent place famous among good skiers. This is outstanding village Volosyanka. Some times ago this place took the name Polyanka. The village is located on the river Slavka and is situated just in several km from Slavsko and in 35 km from Skole. The first historical mentioning about Volosyanka was already in 1572 year.

Here you can find a mountain Vysokiy Verkh where the lovers of skiing can show their skills in a perfect way. Near the mountain lays a comfortable rest complex that is equipped with all necessary amenities for high quality winter rest. There are several lifts on the territory of rest complex. Among them is the longest in this area pare-seat lift with the length of 2800 m and three ski lifts with the length of 700, 750 and 800 m. On the mountain there are several stations, as the Upper Station of pare-seat lift. It is located on the top of the mountain and possesses a restaurant with the same name as the mountain has. If you go lower you will find a natural memorial – the chink “Pysana Krynycya” (the well). There are also the middle stations – interchange stations 1 and 2- that also possess cafe “Pysana Krynycya” and the lowest station. This station is for skis renting, stuff storage and security.

In summer, spring or autumn you can organize an interesting and exciting vacation: climbing the mountains, gathering berries and mushrooms, excursions to the mountain lake and of course fishing. As well the seat lift provides coming up to the top of the Vysokiy Verkh and admire the local panoramic views.

Warm season is extremely beautiful in Volosyanka. The nature breathes with useful gums of surrounded pine trees, mountain lake with crystal clean water is ready to wash your body, the sun is not hot but mild and pleasant. It is an excellent time for coming here with your family or friends.
The area of rest complexes have a very developed infrastructure – bars, cafes-kolyby (kolyba – is a traditional Ukrainian type cafe), fast food type cafes, disco, sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pools and of course different kinds of entertainment games – as billiard, table tennis.
Every year one can watch or even participate in the exciting bikers shows and jeepers contests that took place mostly in autumn, for example October.

Carpathian Mountains, Volosianka village (near “Zakhar Berkut” Complex)

“Sem Vetrov” Cottage Complex is situated in Volosianka village at the foothill of Vysokyi Verkh (Pysana Gora) Mountain, 400 m from ski complex Sakhar Berkut at 6 km distance from railway station of Slavskoye village. There are 3 cottages in the complex. We can ofrznize transfer to/from the railway station and to Slavskoye center. For those who want to ski at other elevators there is transfer to Trostian, Politehnik and others.
There is a big hall with a fire-place at the first floor. There is also kitchen and dining-room with the set of table-ware, electric kettle, micro-wave oven and gas stove. You can cook for yourself or under your advance order the owner will cook for you tasty home meals. There is also WC at the first floor. There are three bed-rooms at the second floor: one with separate beds and two with double beds. There is also a shower. Cottage accommodates company of 6-8 people.
“Zakar Berkut” Tourist Complex is not far from here (300). Here you can use: sauna with pool and Jacuzzi, restaurant and billiards.

Zakhar Berkut

Tourist complex “Zakhar Berkut” is located in a terrifically picturesque zone at the bank of groove at the foothill of Zvorets Mountain (1332 m). It is the territory of Volosianka village (in 2 km from the complex) of Sokolivskyi district in Lviv oblast. The highway connecting Slavske and Volosianka is 0,5 km from there.

This complex is presented by modern five storied building. There are only 21 rooms. 6 double with the area of 25 sq. m each. But these rooms are very cozy and suitable for excellent rest. Semi-suites (two rooms) with the area of 35 m2 each. 5 double suites (living-room + bed-room with air conditioner) of 45 m2.

All rooms are equipped with wash-stand, shower, WC (floor with heating), hair-dryer, TV set and refrigerator.
The complex is situated in 135 km from the city of Lviv and International airport and 30 km from international highway E50.

Bukovel ski resort

Bukovel Ukrainian ski resort is a new modern large ski resort in Ivano-Frankivsk region 30 km to the west of Yaremche. It is Ukraine's first class European ski resort, with a couple high-speed chair lifts, meticulously groomed slopes and snow-making machines, turnstyles for letting skiers through lines, and ubiquitous security personnel.

Bukovel resort has been carefully planned to make skiing and snowboarding very convenient and cozy and to avoid lift lines and congestion. Ski lifts longer than five minutes are rare. Bukovel has great plans for expansion; by the 2008-2009 season it plans to have 278 km of runs and 35 lifts, which would make it one of the 20 largest ski resorts in the world.

Currently, before the start of new season, there are 14 lifts and 50 km of runs in the resort Bukovel's base elevation is nearly 900 m above sea level, and the highest ski lift approaches 1370 m, making Bukovel the second highest ski resort in Ukraine after Dragobrat. All categories of difficulty are available for great and exciting skiing and snowboarding. There is a very long gradual slope that ideally suits for beginners, a couple short tows for children and "super-beginners," all levels of intermediate runs, and several black diamonds. Night skiing is also available from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m, on two slopes that are upper intermediate. Stunning scenery of surroundings, crystal clear air, a rich historical heritage and the unique cultural traditions of the native highlanders always attracts tourists to this resort. Bukovel is working hard towards a bid to hold the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, and the facilities are already to a very high standard. The resort has everything you would hope for in a top class European winter holiday ski-resort including numerous runs (some floodlit) catering for all levels of experience, snow-mobiles, luxury hotels and cottages, nightclubs, pubs, restaurants, saunas, fitness centers, and even paintball.

Morshyn resort

Resort Morshyn - one of the most wonderful corners of Pre-Carpathian region. Its unique and very rare sources of mineral waters - fine and effective means for treatment diseases of a bile expelling and gastroentheric system. Truskavets resort

Truskavets is a prominent balneological SPA resort in Ukraine, a pearl of the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is situated close to picturesque hills within 100 km from the regional center – the city of Lviv. The spa area is very famous for its mineral waters that produce curing effect on gastric, urological diseases, gall-bladders and suger diabetis. Vorokhta ski resort

Vorokhta is very popular tourist destination in Ukraine, and is situated in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is pretty small town and its permanent population is estimated at approximately 5 000, although, due to its popularity, there are many more people here during all year round. It lies on the banks of the River Pruth and is surrounded by the most spectacular and breathtaking landscapes.

The picturesque town of Vorokhta in the Ivano-Frankivsk region was established during the 17th century and is considered as a permanent settlement in the year 1960. It is believed that Vorokhta’s name came from a handyman named Vorokhta, who built the first house here for Vasyl Yanyuk at the beginning of the XVI century. It is believed that his talent was far reaching and many people came to him for advice on their own homes and any form of construction. The town possesses mainly free-standing wooden family homes and has all of the necessary amenities such as electricity, gas, shops, a disco, school, post office and a few bars.

But is the fact that Vorokhta is situated in one of Ukraine’s most spectacular national parks, that makes the town such a very frequently visited destination in Ukraine. The Carpathian National Park enfolds the town with dense pine trees forests of conifer and beech trees and ensures that visitors breathe in the fresh, crisp mountain air with every breath.

It was also the home to the Hutsuls once, an ethno-cultural group that inhabited the dense forests. Hikers spend hours in the park where they will find all that remains of the Hutsuls - a wooden church that was constructed in the year 1615. Many visitors make the short trip to the Hoverla trailhead, to climb the 2 061 meter mountain. It is not a difficult mountain climb and hikers can easily make the ascent. No grazing is allowed on the mountain and hikers are often spellbound by the endless pastures of green grass that dances in the gentle mountain breeze.

Carpaty (the Carpathians) Recreation center in Yaremche

Carpaty Recreation center is located between the mountains at the bank of the local River Pruth in Yaremche resort. Famous ski ways of the resort are located just in 30 km from Yaremche in Yablunitsa village. Carpaty Recreation center is considered in Ukraine a high class tourist complex. It can include up to 160 people.
Carpaty Recreation center in Yaremche offers double suite accommodation, semi-suites and single and double in usual rooms. There are 135 rooms.

It was founded in 1812. One of the oldest of the world's botanical gardens Nikita Botanical Gardens is a large scientific research institute as well as a beautiful place of tourist interest. The Gardens belong to the Ukraine Academy of Agrarian Sciences (UAAS). The main direction of its work is the study of natural flora and vegetation, collection of plants, introduction of new varieties. The total area of the garden includes 1100 hectares. Its coastline is 6 km. The institute possesses 12 scientific departments. It has the largest herbarium in Europe, the oldest library in Crimea, and a scientific museum.

At the beginning of 1980 during the beach measuring the mermaid had to be removed and the monument lost its tail and hand. The other mermaid is larger than the previous ones; it was made in Kiev and in 1984 it was installed on the big boulder found in the district of Maly Mayak.
