Within several years the government has intensions to fully reconstruct the state children's Okhmatdyt clinic. Work at the site work will start within a month.
"We won't loose time, and the main work will be done in 2011," Prime Minister of Mykola Azarov said after inspecting a site for a new toxicology clinic on the Okhmatdyt compound, which located near the Transportation Ministry on Prospekt Pobedy.
Azarov noted a new clinic was being reconstructed in order to form a clinic for children of world class. "We have to construct it according to the top European standard," he mentioned, adding that government would pass a special resolution providing for the reconstruction and would assign responsibility for making all the decisions and meeting work schedules.
Building is scheduled to be finished in 2012, Azarov admitted. A centre for bone marrow transplantation will be opened a year earlier. The project also envisions a new clinic for treating cardiovascular diseases. |
