Making speech to journalists in the Volyn' region of our country President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko reported that there are no economic, financial or other reasons for rapid devaluation of the state currency, according to the President's press-office report.

According to his words despite economic and financial crisis in Ukraine and all over the world that really affected rate of Hryvnya, increase in demand for foreign currency was caused rather by other factors.

"I am deeply sure: today's exchange rates demand struggling with speculative operations that has formed on currency market in last few days", - he added, urging the National Bank, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economy to carry out all necessary measures to minimize psychological causes for the situation.
