During the last half a year in our country the prices and rates for postal services (54%), sewerage services (34.2%), petrol (34.8%), medicine and medical tools (28.9%), alcohol drinks and tobacco (24%), residential lease (22.9%) and water supplying services (21.6%) increased most of all, Doctor of Economics Andriy Revenko has reported to recently, referring to data from the Ukrainian State Statistics Committee.
He admitted that in June 2009, compared to December 2008, the following products increased most in price: sugar (37%), potato (25.9%), non-alcoholic beverages (including coffee, tea, 19.9%), and butter (14.3%).
"Probably, the growth in the price of butter is connected with the recent transfer to new standards in its production. Earlier, butter was made that included vegetable components," he mentioned. |
