Meet 3 New Years with local people!

Definitely one month is still left  but almost all the places for living in the Carpathians famous resorts are reserved. For the period of New Year holidays the sanatoriums, rest houses, cottages and apartments in the Western Ukraine are full for 200%! The cost of traveling to this part of our country also grows for this period.

It is no wonder that there is such a demand for having rest in the Western Ukraine – Carpathians area famous for the unforgettable landscapes and comfortable conditions for winter sport. Snow here is mostly lying from the start of Decemeber to the end of April. And as for famous resort Dragobrat snow was there for the last 30 winters, even when these seasons were mild. Almost every region here possesses places for skiing – ski resorts, sanatoriums, rest houses with territory for skiing. The Carpathians resorts keep developing all the time and now they already reach the level of international standards. The most famous places are – Slavsk, Dragobrat, Yaremche, Sinevir, Yablunicya, Mijhirya, Guta, Svalyava etc. So, you wish high quality skiing, snowboarding or just pleasant walks in a beautiful nature of snowy mountains. Carpathians are for you!

As for New Year celebration in this region you will always feel a friendly atmosphere and great power of holiday here. People here celebrate as much as possible. It can be seen in their funny tradition to celebrate 3 New Years in one night. The first one is Russian New Year – it is celebrated at 11 pm by the Kievan time. The second one is native Ukrainian when all people rise their glasses with Champaign after President’s speech on TV at 12 a.m. The third New Year is the Polish Nowy Rok and it is celebrated at 1 a.m on the 1-st of January. New Year celebration here is always full of fireworks and beautiful Carpathian songs.

   Many tourists use to visit Carpathians for the New Year vacation. These are great majority of the Ukrainian citizens, but now Carpathians keep attracting representatives of other European countries. Of course somebody possesses nice convenient Carpathian real estate and they do not need to reserve special places for living. But many of visitors usually reserve some accommodation in this mountain area with the purpose to have a pleasant rest in winter days.

New Year in the Carpathians is an excellent opportunity for famous people to rest. Many singers, actors or politicians call these mountains their “second home”. They use to come here to their private Ukrainian properties with the purpose to celebrate New Year and to go in for skiing.
