Director of Euro 2012 in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky has noted that the sale of tickets for Euro 2012 matches will start on March 1 and that 1.4 million tickets will be given out via lottery.

"Given the great rush for the passes to the stadiums, 1.4 million tickets will be propagated under the principle of an independent lottery," the Ukraine 2012 Information Centre quoted him as saying.

Lubkivsky added that now everybody can register on UEFA's Web site and get information on how to purchase tickets for the Championship.

He mentioned that prices for tickets will be the same for everybody, and noted that they had already been determined, but would be officially announced on March 1.

Lubkivsky offered earlier that he expected a rush for buying of tickets for Euro 2012 matches through UEFA's Web site.
