
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will spend HR 450 million to finish building and put into operation subway stations Demiivska, Vasylkivska and Holosiivska (Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska subway line) from the Lybidska metro station towards Teremky housing estate until December 31, 2010, and about Hr 1.5 billion to construct the Podilskyi Bridge in Kyiv.
The Department of Information and Mass Communication of the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat announced government intensions on Sunday.
"The government will envisage HR 400 million to finish building and put into operation Demiivska, Vasylkivska and Holosiivska subway stations until December 31, 2010, and about HR 1.5 billion to construct a bridge to Troyeschyna housing estate," the statement cited Prime Minister Mykola Azarov noting.
Azarov assured the money will be supplied despite of this year's tight budget.
As it was reported, the Kyivskyi Metropoliten municipal enterprise has intensions to finish building of the three subway stations from the Lybidska subway station towards Teremky housing estate by July 2011.
In July 2005, Kyivmetrobud started construction of a 3.8-kilometer subway section including three stations: Demiivska, Holosiivska and Vasylkivska.
By now 80-90% of the work has been done. Kyiv city state administration has planned to commission the car part of the Podilskyi Bridge in 2010 and the subway part in 2011.
The bridge has the length of 7.5 km. |
