Kyivavtodor plans to reconstruct 225 000 square meters of capital roads by 2012 in the 1.5 kilometer zone around the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex.

The press service of Kyiv City Administration informed that in particular, the company has intentions to overhaul 137 000 square meters on Lesi Ukrainky Avenue, Fizkultury Street and Chervonoarmiyska Street.

According to the press release, current renovations would be carried out in the 1.5 kilometer zone on 88 000 square meters on Tereschenkivska, Baseina, Dmymytrova, Hospytalna streets, Tarasa Shevchenko Avenue and Laboratorny Lane.

Besides, Kyivavtodor is to renovate 53 areas of 2.073 million square meters: pavements near the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex, the Yuzhny bridge, Stolychne Shose, Kiltseva (orbital) road, Brovarsky Avenue, Zabolotnoho, Eleny Telehy, Artema, Dehtiarivska streets, Hostomilske Road, and Druzhby Narodiv, Vozdukhoflotsky, Chervonozoriany and Palladin avenues.
