Kyiv city state administration decided to construct in Kyiv a centre for processing data on protection in public places during the European Football Championship 2012, reports the administration order, a copy of which Ukrainian News has obtained.
Kyiv city state administration charged the municipal enterprise Kyivinformatika with ordering design and building of the facility.
The order did not mention location of the centre nor the building terms.
As it was earlier reported, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on December 10-11 will finally decide on the cities that will hold matches during EURO 2012.
UEFA confirmed Kyiv as a city for the EURO 2012 championship on May 13 but didn’t confirm Donetsk, Lviv, and Kharkiv as host cities.
It then gave Donetsk, Lviv, and Kharkiv until November 30 to bring their stadiums, airports, transport infrastructures, and other infrastructures regarding its requirements if they wish to be confirmed as host cities. |
