Introduction of a new regular flight to Shanghai - China’s largest financial and economical center - will take place at the end of May

Air company “Aerosvit – Ukrainian airlines” introduces a new regular flight with the route Kyiv-Shanghai- Kyiv. On the new air line long distance air planes Boeing 767 will be utilized.

In March 2007 air company received from the main management of public aviation of China a permission for the flights to the Shanghai city execution. On the primary stage the flights will be carried out once per week: on Friday – from Kyiv and on Saturday – in the opposite direction.

Later in the case of demand growing the frequency of the flights to the largest financial and economical center of China will be increased.

In the capital airport Boryspil the new direction will be matched with routes of air company “Aerosvit” to the cities of Ukraine, countries of Central Europe and Eastern Mediterranean, that will permit to direct new transit passengers streams through Kyiv.

As well Aerosvit already has increased the number of flights to Beijing – from two to three flights per week. And after the introduction of a new direction at the end of May general number of flights between Ukraine and China will grow up to 4 per week.

Kyiv-Shanghai will become the sixth transcontinental air line in addition to regular direct routes to Beijing, New-York, Toronto, Deli and Bangkok.

After a new flight is opened general route net of the Ukrainian air companies “Aerosvit” and “Donbasaero” will include 90 directions.
