In September 2008 there were finals of Kyiv Golf Club Cup that started on August 5, 2008. During all these weeks, tournaments among men and women were held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. According to the plan of golf competition organizers (Martina Zatko, Club's Golf Director, is the author of the tournament concept), such contest was to become a great playing basement for golfers who are willing to play golf on the regular basement. Additionally, the Cup had one more practical profit, as Kyiv Golf Club enjoys the right to correct players' handicap according to results in club`s competitions.

About 55 players took part in these club contests. The format of games implied both surprises and certain "odds" for newcomers. Each player both competes with other golfers and performs his plan, based on one's own handicap, of playing every hole. That is how the player maintains or modifies his sport class.

As a result of eight rounds, Yelena Movchan (211 points) won among women-participants. Tatyana Gerasimenko was the second (197 points) and Olga Hristich was the third (195 points). Three women-golfers, who won, were the most active during the whole series and each of them played in 6 tournaments.

In men's winning trinity the ratio of played tournaments and total points is a bit different. Vladimir Tsoy gets third place for the result of 196 points in 7 tournaments. Dmitriy Khristich played two contests less but gained enough points to come to the second place (200). Dmitriy Dutchin (208 points after 7 tournaments) was a number1 winner.
