
The United States-located Domino's pizza net is entering the Ukrainian market through concluding a master franchisee agreement on the development of the chain, reads a press release on the opening of a first pizza store in Romania.
"Additionally to the new store in Romania, new Master Franchisee agreements were concluded this year for Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Bulgaria," the company noted.
It did not disclose any other details as for the development of the chain in Ukraine.
Simultaneously, Dominos Pizza Ukraine Ltd. has already been registered in the capital of Ukraine, according to information available.

Through its primarily locally owned and operated franchised system, Domino's operates a net of around 9 000 franchised and company-owned stores in the United States and over 60 international markets. The Domino's Pizza brand, named a Megabrand by Advertising Age magazine, had global retail sales of over USD 5.5 billion in 2009, comprised of nearly USD 3.1 billion domestically and over USD 2.5 billion internationally. During the second quarter of 2010, the Domino's Pizza brand had global retail sales of nearly USD1.5 billion, comprising approximately USD 780 million domestically and over USD 650 million internationally. |
