
The Transport and Communications Ministry of Ukraine is evaluating the development of the feasibility report and project for the building of the second circle road around Kyiv at UAH 350 million, the ministry press service told recently.
The sum also is provided for the construction of new bridges.
The car road service of Kyiv region will obtain from the 2008 national budget UAH 113 million for projetc efforts, the ministry reports.
As it was earlier reported, the Kyiv regional state administration hopes to start the building of the second circle road around Kyiv in 2009.
The transport ministry of Ukraine is anticipating that the feasibility studies for the building project will be completed by 2009.
The ministry has plans to complete the building by 2017, the first stage to be launched by 2011.
The Kyiv regional council approved in February the route of the second circle road around Kyiv to go through the territories of 8 districts in the region.
The road will be 214 kilometers long.
It will pass through 8 bridges, including two crossing the Dnieper river, 28 two-level interchanges and 78 overpasses. |
