In Ukraine in 2007 6 183 land plots were sold, as well as rights for the rent for them by total area of 5 891 ha for the sum of 3 mlrd 501, 52 mln of hrn.

It was reported by the State agency of land resources of Ukraine. According the state of 1 January of current year for the period of land reform 39.5 thousands of Ukrainian land properties for sale were sold and the rights for its leasing by total area of 23 736 ha for the sum of 6 mlrd 890 14 mln of hrn.

Besides to the state and local budgets for the period of land reform in Ukraine 6 mlrd 589 mln of hrn were transferred from the selling of land plots. In 2007 - 3 mlrd 466 44 mln of hrn, that includes 578% from the planned ones for this period.

To 1 january in Ukraine 90.45% (6.16 mln) of state acts for the ownership right for the land was carried out.

As it is reported in the message during 2007 169.1 of state acts was registered. About 100 000 of citizens who received rights for their own land but didn't get the certificates due to different reasons are left.

Let's remind that land reform in Ukraine started in 1991. For that time President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma by his resolution from 17 June 2005 put a task to finish the registration of ownership rights till the end of 2005. But this work was not terminated.
