In July at restaurant Dnipro located in Dnipro Hotel, Khreshchatyk 1/2, 2 floor, Kyiv was held a Champagne reception to celebrate the Kyiv launch of the British Ukrainian Society.

The British Ukrainian Society is a not-for-profit organization (NGO) with aim of strengthening relationship between Great Britain and Ukraine.

Guests who were invited to participate at the launch of mentioned organization were politicians, businessmen, scientists, representatives of authorities, heads of diplomatic missions, artists and journalists.

Such famous people as Mr. Richard Spring MP (Chairman of the British Ukrainian Society), Mr. Antony Fisher, Mr. Robert Shetler-Jones, Viscount Raymond Asquith, Mr. Vladimir Granovski, Mr. Sergiy Kruglyk and Mr. Ihor Mityukov will participate in the meeting.

Representatives of the leading Ukrainian and international organizations, law and auditing companies, famous artists and well-known scientists who represent their interests in growing o relations with Great Britain, were honorable guests - Mr. Borys Tarasyuk (Nasha Ukraina), Mr. Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Mr. John-Christer Ahlander (Embassy of Sweden), Mr. Ian Boag (Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine), Oleh Soskin (Institute of Society Transformation), Ms. Lyudmyla Suprun, Mr. Volodymyr Gryshko.
