
As we know, from January 1, 2012 come into effect a law under which a specific area of real estate will be taxed from 1% to 2.7% of the minimum wage.
Experts explain that the real estate tax will be charged from the owners of apartment with living area of over 120 sq. m. and houses more than 240 sq.m. For apartment with living area before 240 sq. m. and houses before 500 sq. m. tax will be only 1% from the "minimal salary."
For property owners with an area of more than these numbers would have to pay tax at a rate of 2.7% of the minimum salary. For example, owners of apartments at 150 square meters with minimum salary in 1004 UAH (12/01/2011) per year will pay only 300 UAH, but the owner of the house about 600 square meters have already to shell out nearly 9500 UAH per year.
This "wealth tax" because the owners of huge mansionsare the people not modest income, in principle, according to experts, is valid. By law, it shall be exempt from the foster home, territorial communities, dormitories, and the exclusion zone (Chernobyl).
That is, the law is aimed primarily at owners of suburban villas, cottage communities, owners of large apartments in the city.
Given that the tax shall be imposed only living space, without sanitary and utility rooms (closets, dressing rooms, bathrooms), owners of large property, tax specialists are supposed, to be looking for a way of registration living room as part-time squares through arrangements with the inspection organizations and the Bureau of Technical Inventory. |
