Premier says he will not allow such a serious rise in prices, which had been with our neighbors.

The Ukrainian Government has made every effort to food prices were lower today than in neighboring states.

This was stated by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during the national seminar of journalists of regional media.

As reported in the press, the Prime Minister stressed that there is a lot of speculation on the topic of rising prices today.

However, if you compare the price situation on basic foodstuffs to neighboring countries, then, as noted Azarov, Ukraine prices are lower: "If you compare us with our neighbors - we do not allow such a serious rise in prices, which had been with our neighbors."

The Prime Minister explained that to ensure food security, the Government has taken several decisions, among which the construction of wholesale markets and storage, logistics development, the increase in acreage and crop production, etc.

We remind the Ukrainian government binds a slight increase in food prices, particularly food processing grain (flour, bread, etc..), with the introduction in October 2010, quotas for grain export in the country.
